A determined jumper may go through several wire lengths per year, depending on his or her usage of the rope. The R1 speed rope already comes with an additional 11ft cut, but having backup wire available is a great idea. Be smart!
Additionally, having 100ft of wire at your gym or fitness location can provide you and others with needed additional wire. 100ft can usually suffice 10 lengths, if the jumpers aren't too large! Be thoughtful!

Steel Wire Crimps $1.50 - 5 pack

If you are replacing your steel wire (coated or uncoated), or constructing your rope from scratch, you will almost certainly need additional wire crimps! Lightweight and small- they're just good to have around! Be smart!
Sizing collars (for coated or uncoated steel wire) are a great in that they allow you to size the rope's wire to your custom length. This is not only good for when you first get the rope and get used to its length, it's also good to keep in mind for your workouts. As you get fatigued, you're jumping form may suffer, and you may prefer to lengthen your rope as your workout progresses!
In addition, weakly tightened sizing collars have been known to fly away suddenly... keep some on hand and keep them tightened! Be aware!
Whether it is for aesthetics or to prevent your cable (coated or uncoated) from fraying at the end, end caps are a wise choice to purchase. Lightweight and small- they're just good to have around! Be smart!
Rounds nuts are just like hex nuts, but round! You will find them securing the PVC cord on the R2 Trainer Rope and Freestyle ropes. Replacement parts for these ropes are recommended if you use your ropes often!
In addition, if you are assembling your ropes from scratch, having lots of round nuts around makes sense! Be thoughtful!

Bushings (allows fluid movement of the Freestyle Ropes) $2.50 - 5 pack

Bushings are like washers, except they work 10 times better in freestyle ropes! The metal-to-metal contact between the round nut and the bushing allows the freestyle rope to spin effortlessly!
In addition, we have both small and large bushings. The small are used more for beaded-rope handles that don't have bearings. The large, more for freestyle. Be thoughtful and keep some on hand!
Braided cord is lightweight, flexible, and inexpensive- a perfect solution for beaded ropes!
