More about Susahnn...
Susahnn (pronounced Susan) has her Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University. She played the clarinet in the ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, and was on the 2000 State Champion Varsity Soccer team in high school. She has competed for the Jump Rope Grand National Championship in double dutch speed events over 7 times.

The sport of Jump Rope encompasses all lifeís greatest gifts according to Susahnn. It encourages community, friendship and leadership. Discipline is needed to become faster, stronger, and jump higher. Courage and self-confidence are developed to try new skills and perform them for audiences. Last, but not least, creativity is fostered and taught to grow.

Susahnn's current jump rope goal is to find a way to teach creativity in the sport of jump rope. In the past coaches have left creativity to whomever possessed the talent, but Susahnn believes that in this sport, it can be taught. The cornerstone of creativity is questioning. Questioning if this is the hardest the skill can be, or if there is another skill that can come before or after that skill to make it more interesting, more fluid, more difficult? It is a valuable thought process that the academic world would call "problem solving".
